FEMA: Get the hell out!

Posted by schroeder915 on February 8, 2006

No trailer? No hotel room?

Tough shit!

Maybe people should just get their families used to the idea of sleeping on a cold slab. Hey — on the bright side, with all the lights out around southeast Louisiana, there are a lot more stars to gaze at.

Stacey Tallitsch:

I filled out all the required paperwork, called FEMA at least once a week for six months, got one of those magical “codes” that was supposed to give me an extension. Yet, here we are. …

I’ve made all the effort in the world to contact FEMA, not the other way around. I’ve provided three contact numbers, including a cell phone and email address to FEMA at every point of contact. The only time I’ve heard anything from them was through the front desk this morning saying GET OUT.

    Ron Forman, Ray Nagin…

    Look at the candidates.

    Listen to the President.

Business will legislate in the new New Orleans.

If the hotels say get out, you’re out.

    There’s no help forthcoming here.

What about that Powell guy and his appointment?

It looks like Mitch may be all that can represent the people.

Our entire country ought to be ashamed. But nope, it’s just life in these United States…

I think….I dont know what to think really; FEMA needs to be run out of town on a rail, the people need to take to the streets and burn down FEMA’s headquarters, Brownie needs to be strung up like Mussolini’s bloated corpse was, and New Orleans needs to be AVENGED.

Oh, and hey, FEMA just f****d St. Bernard. But who cares, it’s just “people.”

Okay, I’m going to watch cartoons now so I don’t have an aneurism.
